The Diploma in Law is your gateway to a recognised law degree in UK and a successful legal career. Recognised as academically equivalent to Year 1 of a degree programme and aligned with Level 4 of UK higher education qualifications, it provides a seamless progression pathway to an LLB (Hons) degree, including programmes offered by the University of London and other leading UK institutions.
A key focus of the Diploma is the development of vital, transferable skills central to both legal practice and a wide range of professions — including communication, effective listening, critical reading, persuasive writing, structured argumentation and independent research across local and international sources.

This programme is equivalent to Level 4 of a UK degree qualification (Year 1 of an undergraduate programme), and sets the foundation for any student intending to pursue higher studies in legal education. With articulation parthways to UK universities that are recognized for admission to the Bar of England and Wales.

Global Progression Opportunities
Upon completion, you can progress to the Advanced Diploma in Law, and ultimately to an LLB (Hons) degree with University of London and other BAC university partners, subject to meeting the required average and English language entry requirements.
Recognised Quality
BAC College (Singapore) has received consecutive four-year EduTrust awards and was recognised as the Gold standard at the JobsCentral Learning Training and Education Development Awards in 2017.
Its current EduTrust certification is valid from 12 September 2025 to 11 September 2029.
Entry Requirements
Academic Requirements
- 18 years of age and above; and
- GCE A-Level; or
- Completion of Year 12; or
- Completion of less than Year 12 will be considered if it is an official completion of High School in the country of origin; or
- IB Diploma; or
- Pre-university certifications; or
- Polytechnic Diploma; or
- BAC Foundation Diploma; or
- Mature candidates (30 years old or older with 8 years of work experience); or
- Other private or foreign qualifications will be assessed on a case-by-case basis
Language Proficiency
- Pass BAC English Placement Test; or
- IELTS 5.5 or equivalent
